La historia
El Breitling Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante reinterpreta de modo inimitable una de las complicaciones relojeras más elaboradas: la función ratrapante (del francés rattraper, o «recuperar terreno perdido»). La función, mediante dos manecillas centrales de cronógrafo superpuestas, permite medir a la vez dos tiempos transcurridos. En la operación es posible detener una de ellas para medir un tiempo intermedio/parcial, lo cual tenía valor incalculable para los pilotos y satisfacía los objetivos del Navitimer legendario. La caja en oro rojo de 18K y la esfera Stratos Gris con esferas internas negras en contraste dan al modelo una estética llamativa y original. El logotipo de Breitling, dividido entre las dos manecillas centrales del cronógrafo, se recompone en el momento en que la B de la manecilla roja se sitúa oportunamente encima del ancla del segundero. Uno de esos detalles impactantes que encarna la sofisticación y la innovación en el arte relojero.
