The Story

In the 1980s, Breitling developed the Colt for the armed forces. The no-nonsense dial had luminescent indexes with a subset of military hours for easy readability, even in low light. Breitling gave it a super sturdy case, with an extra-wide bezel and raised riders, so the crystal wouldn’t take a beating during military exercises. The Colt came in a variety of calibers, both mechanical and SuperQuartz. While this line has been discontinued, you can find an updated alternative in our Avenger collection.
