Top Time Tribute to Aston Martin DB5
Few cars carry the cultural weight of the Aston Martin DB5. Introduced in 1963, the British grand tourer became shorthand for taste, style, and modern luxury. Today, as the official watch partner of Aston Martin, Breitling channels that legacy into a limited-edition trio honoring one of the most celebrated cars ever made.

Time and speed, reunited
The Top Time launched in the 1960s as Breitling’s “unconventional chronograph,” created for a new, youthful, and speed-obsessed audience. When it appeared on Sean Connery’s wrist in James Bond’s Thunderball (1965) alongside the Aston Martin DB5, two design icons shared the same screen. Now that moment returns in three limited editions, each translating the DB5’s style, materials, and character through the Top Time.
Tribute in gold
Individually numbered and limited to 250 pieces, this expression pairs an 18k red-gold case with an onyx dial, a natural stone chosen to match the depth and luster of a DB5 dash. A wooden inner bezel adds a warm material note, while the cushion-shaped case and subdials take their cues from its instrument panel.

Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01
Inside, Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01 reveals itself through the open caseback, wound by a rotor engraved with the Aston Martin logo: steel for the steel edition, 18k red gold for the steel-and-platinum and gold editions. A COSC-certified chronometer with a weekend-proof 70-hour power reserve, it’s a fitting engine for a tribute shaped by the DB5’s grand touring DNA.
