The Story

Breitling’s iconic pilot’s chronograph – for the journey. In 1952, Willy Breitling developed a chronograph with a rotating slide rule on the wrist, allowing pilots to perform essential flight calculations. The model became the official timepiece of the International Association of Owner Pilots (AOPA) and was named “Navigation + Timer,” or “Navitimer.” Since then, the Navitimer has set the standard for pilot’s watches, adored by aviators and aviation enthusiasts alike. But it wasn’t just pilots who were captivated by the Navitimer’s allure—celebrities like Miles Davis and Serge Gainsbourg also fell for its blend of function and style. This Japan-limited, released in 2024, is a combination of the popular ice blue and mother-of-pearl. The refreshing sparkle is like a sea of clouds seen from an airplane window, or a glittering snowy field, and will cleanse your soul. Of course, it is equipped with the Breitling Caliber 01, a manufacture chronograph. You can see its intricate movement through the sapphire crystal case back.
