Since becoming the official watch of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) in 1954, it has been a favorite among airline captains, aviation enthusiasts, and even astronaut Scott Carpenter, who wore it into space in 1962. Today’s Navitimer keeps its classic charm with refined updates: a slimmer profile thanks to a flat slide rule and domed sapphire crystal, and a mix of polished and satin finishes. The AOPA wings return to 12 o’clock— a nod to its origins.
