The Story

To mark Breitling’s 140th anniversary, the brand unveiled its first in-house perpetual calendar chronograph movement: the Caliber B19. The Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar Japan Limited is the first Japanese-exclusive model to feature this milestone complication. Originally created in 1952 for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Navitimer became Breitling’s most iconic timepiece. Its combination of chronograph functionality and a rotating slide rule made it a trusted cockpit tool—and soon a favorite beyond aviation, embraced by athletes, musicians, and even astronauts. In 1962, it became the first Swiss wristwatch to travel into space. This exclusive Japan Limited edition brings together the heritage of the Navitimer with the pinnacle of modern watchmaking. It features an 18K red gold case and a mother-of-pearl dial—each with unique natural patterns, making every piece one of a kind. Limited to just 20 pieces, this collector’s model unites technical mastery, rich materials, and timeless design.
