Historic details
PRODUCTION SPAN: 1992-1996

The Navitimer 92 is an outlier in the Navitimer timeline in several aspects, as it "shrinks" the design to a much smaller screw-back case with a diameter of only 36.5mm and a 38mm serrated bezel and the sliderule revives the "scientific" functions of the 1940 Chronomat, dropping the typical E6B Flight Computer functions of regular Navitimer. The Navitimer 92 holds a modular chronograph caliber, the Breitling cal. 30, combining an ETA base movement with a chronograph module by Dubois Depraz.

Navitimer 92 has hour and minute counters and "running seconds" in a 6/9/12 layout, and no date display. The chrono sweep hand has a "script B" counterweight.

Dials of the Navitimer 92 come in various colors and lumed arabics indexes. All have red accents on both dial and "sloped" slide rule; logo is "Breitling Wings & Anchor."
