With the Navitimer now a "core catalog" model, Breitling redesigns the cases to hold the Venus caliber 178, the high end column wheel 14 lignes chronograph caliber that powers the Premier, Chronomat and AVI model families.
This first Mk2 Venus-based execution of the Navitimer 806 still has a smaller rice beads bezel similar to Mk1, as well as AOPA- and Breitling-branded dials.
