The first mass-production Navitimer version, still primarily marketed through the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA) distribution network.
This execution already has cases with the tapered and chamfered longer lugs typical for the iconic Navitimer until today.
Note that this execution does still not have any Breittling model reference stamped on the caseback, there are some very rare first examples with Breitling-branded dials.
Caliber: Valjoux 72, BOW-coded
Case: tapered lugs, ca. 40mm diameter
Bezel: small beads, ca. 40mm diameter
Dial: black, monochrome slide rule
Hands: wide lumed syringe, wide counterweight chrono sweep
