PRODUCTION SPAN: 1964-1967

With the Navitimer Mk5, Breitling lands on its final iteration of the rotating slide rule bezel. Variations of this "serrated notch bezel" will be used on most of the vintage models that follow. A modernized variation of it still adorns the Navitimer today.

The Mk5 used black dials with constrating silverwhite subdials. In 1965, the iconic Twin Jet logo replaces the "unsigned wings" of non-AOPA Navitimers. Some later examples will have gilt or silver printed "AOPA-signed" wings.
