GDPR

If you are a customer from the European Economic Area the following applies to you:

  1. Controller: Breitling AG, Léon Breitling-Strasse 2, 2540 Grenchen, Switzerland (hereinafter “Breitling”) is responsible for the collection of your personal data. Where we collect your marketing consent for retailors and/or operators of a Breitling Boutique, we act as joint controllers. For this purpose, we have concluded an agreement pursuant to Article 26 GDPR. You can assert your rights under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR against both of us. However, in principle, you will receive the information from Breitling. Breitling is also responsible for the notification and communication obligations arising from Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.
  2. Use of your personal data: We collect your personal data in order to provide you with a high-quality after-sales service and inform you about news, offers and events related to Breitling products by email, telephone and SMS for promotional purposes. The legal basis for the processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to dataprivacy@breitling.com.
  3. Recipients of the data and transfer to a third country: As part of the processing, we transmit your data for technical purposes to our hosting provider and to affiliated companies of Breitling in Switzerland. There is an adequacy decision for Switzerland by the European Commission.
  4. Other purposes for which Breitling processes your data: Information on the further use of your personal data by Breitling, its security and the retention period can be found in the privacy policy on Breitling’s website: www.breitling.com/zz-zz/privacy-policy
  5. Your rights: You have the right, at any time, to modify or withdraw your consent, to request access to and rectify your personal data, to obtain the restriction of their processing, to receive your personal data in a structured and machine-readable format, which may be exercised by contacting us at dataprivacy@breitling.com, as well as the right to complain to a supervisory authority at your normal place of residence.
