Breitling × Aston Martin
Time and speed, reunited
For over a century, two stories have run in parallel, shaped by precision, iconic design, and a shared pursuit of speed. From early instruments that measured performance to moments that shaped modern culture, their lines have crossed more than once. Now, Breitling and Aston Martin meet again as Official Watch Partner.
A shared design language
It began with speed. In 1907, Breitling introduced the Vitesse. In England, Aston Hill shaped the early direction of Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. By the 1960s, both Aston Martin and Breitling had come to embody a particular idea of modernity, where engineering was inseparable from style. They appeared together on screen in the James Bond film Thunderball (1965), when Aston Martin’s DB5 and a Breitling chronograph shared the frame. It was not about product placement, but a shared approach to iconic design and craftsmanship that continues today, with new developments to come as the partnership moves forward.
