Breitling’s stylish sea watch gets a sun-soaked refresh, with refined new proportions, ocean-ready elegance, and a salute to Hawaiian surf culture. Every detail of the Superocean Heritage has been fine-tuned, from the size assortment to the addition of the new B31 manufacture movement. With this refreshed design, Breitling is also rolling out a limited edition co-designed by surfing G.O.A.T. Kelly Slater and a sunglasses collaboration with Cutler and Gross—made to move effortlessly between the waves and the waterfront.

The Superocean Heritage is Breitling’s original stylish sea watch—born in 1957 with a bold, design-forward take on dive timekeeping. This refreshed collection sharpens that legacy with refined proportions, and a throwback to the original’s signature spear-and-arrow hands. Inside, it’s powered by Breitling’s exclusive manufacture movements: the Caliber 01 in the 42 mm chronograph and the B31 automatic in the 44, 42, and 40 mm three-hand models. A streamlined new 36 mm size features the Caliber 10. The launch campaign brings this modern-retro spirit to life in full color, channeling the lush foliage, saturated tones, and sunlit energy of Hawaiian surf culture—a vibrant tribute to the sea, the scene, and the Superocean’s timeless style.

As he steps away from professional competition, Breitling honors his extraordinary career with the Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic 40 Kelly Slater, a limited-edition watch infused with the Hawaiian surf culture that shaped him. The dial features a pattern inspired by the play of sunlight through tropical foliage, while the open caseback reveals the B31 movement and an engraved outer ring. The watch comes in a special presentation box adorned with the same lush motif—and includes a personal note from Slater himself.

No summer look is complete without the perfect sunglasses, and Breitling has teamed up with the independent British eyewear authority Cutler and Gross to deliver just that. The capsule collection—Breitling Eyewear by Cutler and Gross—translates the sleek design language of the Superocean Heritage into four handcrafted styles, each featuring luminous lacquer-filled temple tips echoing the watch’s arrow hand, Milanese-engraved detailing inspired by the watch’s mesh bracelet, and lenses in hues of grey, blue, grey-pink, and green to match the collection’s palette. Within each style, a special edition is outfitted with high-performance ZEISS LightPro® Technology lenses and 18k red-gold-plated accents—a nod to the red-gold hardware on select Superocean Heritage models—for effortless style at sea.
